The Grand Tradition

    Our most popular package, honoring the history of the chapel while giving you a little extra time to celebrate.

    • Choice of music for the ceremony. ( Walk down the aisle and celebrate your kiss with music of your choice, provided through our chapel system. Other than this add-on, no music will be played during your ceremony)

  • Meet Minister Roy Nix

    Born in New York to amazing Christain parents. Has 3 sisters all close in age. Committed to God in Jesus movement of the 1970's. Has been married to his wife Zita for an amazing 45+ years. Raised 2 children and spends as much time as possible now playing with his 4 Grand-kids.

    Rachel is a 44-year-old ordained officiant, a proud mother of three, and a happily married woman with a heart for service. With a deep love for people and a passion for creating meaningful moments, Rachel is honored to serve the community at this historic Hitching Post Chapel.

    Blending warmth, professionalism, and genuine care, she guides couples through one of the most important days of their lives. Whether the ceremony is simple, traditional, or tailored to a couple’s unique story, Rachel brings calm, joy, and sincerity to every wedding she officiates. Her commitment to love, family, and faith shines through in every word she speaks—making each ceremony heartfelt, personal, and unforgettable.

  • Meet Minster Tenisha

    Born and raised in Coeurd ‘Alene. Graduated from Lake City High school. Happily married to her best friend. Mom of three amazing young ladies. President of CD’A High School Viking Parent Committee and a proud Viking Booster. Tonisha loves to serve her community and school district. Over the years she has been a Bible Study Fellowship leader, youth ministry leader, Sunday school teacher. Creator at heart and loves helping host functions of all kinds. She is a part time elementary substitute teacher and now loving her job as a minister here at the Hitching Post.

DAY OF IMPORTANT DETAILS

+ All ceremonies are elopement-style and last about 10 minutes. they are not custom ceremonies.

+ Silk bouquets are included in select packages. They may be used for both the ceremony and photos but are not fresh florals.

+ Timing is strictly enforced- your package time starts and ends as booked to respect other couples.
