Reservation/Cancellation Policy Weddings performed in the Hitching Post during regular business hours. Regular Business hours: Mon-Sat. 9:00 - 5:00 pm. After hours, Holidays and Sundays by appointment only. Appointments recommended, though not necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Fee can be paid when you arrive for your wedding. Payment made prior to date of wedding and wedding not performed, refund will be made in full. Weddings performed in the Hitching Post facilities after hours/Sundays/Holidays Give us a date and approximate time you wish to be married. We will set a time as close to that as possible. Your marriage license or payment needs to be into us prior to the end of the last business day. e.g. You wish to be married on Sunday, your marriage license or payment needs to be into the Hitching Post by Saturday no later than 5:00. ** Cancellation must be made at least 2 weeks prior to wedding for a full refund otherwise it is forfeited. Cancellation of wedding to be performed during regular business hours with payment already made will be refunded in full. For Weddings scheduled outside of the Hitching Post-Lake, other facilities etc. A deposit of 50% needs to be paid within 2 weeks of scheduling an outside wedding with the balance paid by the day of the wedding. Cancellation must be made at least 2 weeks prior to wedding for a full refund otherwise it is forfeited.
